I've been futzing around with learning a bit of code in my free time. Coding does take longer than, say, using a pre-made template, especially since I'm still learning, but there's something very appealing to me about pure code--type in some characters, and a web page appears. Anyhoo...

One of my most-read websites is Tomato Nation. Written by Jersey-girl-turned-New-Yorker Sarah Bunting, it has a daily advice column called "The Vine" as well as frequent stories/rants/vignettes posted to the front page.
